Since 1985, John and Laurie Elliot have been faithfully serving the Lord in Aomori, Japan as the only resident Gospel witnesses to the 20,000 people living in the towns of Ajigasawa, Morita and Fukaura. While evangelism is a slow process in Japan, the Lord has blessed their ministry. In 1995, the Lord provided the church in Ajigasawa with land and its own building. This permanent site added a sense of commitment to the community and has allowed the Elliots to gain the trust and respect which is critical to reaching the Japanese people. The Elliots are also active in working with teens by running programs at the Moya Camp near Aomori City, and through working with KGK (IVF).
